thanks, most plumbers will agree, its a way of living, not just a job, and its an interesting a varied job to have, If i started out again tomorrow i'd pick the same job, I always remember a skool teacher saying, " if you don't buckle down and learn stuff, you'll finish up a bin man or a plumber" and he was't far wrong, I never managed the top prize of the ' nar do wells' bin man, I won second and am well happy with that, |

Made me chuckle that!! Similar thing was told to me. Pull thi socks up or amount to being in a "crap" job!! Well I'd say plumbing is a calling not a job. I always say a plumber is there to fix what a husband repaired  |

Absolutely! It's not about how much bla bla bullshit can baffle brains! It's a life skill and out in the field we've nothing but those skills to get the job done! Must be something about it as folk are paying a fortune to become plumbers/engineers - Mr Mitchell my teacher who said I'd end up in a crap job! Would love him to call me out to a problem 😁

I can't believe it. But I'm one of the oldest farts on the firm I work for!! I don't think I'll retire, I just love my trade too much.
I'm like Tom, I didn't try a leg in Skool & have been learning every day since.
Never done any other job, never will.
