Chaps!!
Got a call to this boiler some months ago. Firstly the custard had been over filling to about 2 bar! Complaint was water coming from prv when heating on - so dropped pressure and filled to 1, 1.2 bar and changed prv as couldn't get a seal. All was good for a couple of months when I got called to the prv passing. So this time, checked expansion vessel which was reading just over 0.5 bar. Recharged to 1 bar. Yesterday got a call from custard saying hot water runs fine and heating runs well until it's turned off and pressure drops out instantly!
Fresh ideas please ππΌππΌ anyone had this before?

I'd check the pump over run, it sounds to me its ok till it stops so the sudden stop is causing the pressure overload, they are all meant to run on till the temp stabilizes,
only a guess but food for thought, qwerty

If the fish aren't hungry?
It's frustrating when the person on the next peg is pulling them out left right and centre and you can't buy a bite (been there many times myself).
