I'd give that bloke a medal, he's talking proper sense, he's not looking for a sale, he's not insulting the intelligence of the householder, he's telling them exactly what i tell them, figures can lie and liars can figure, if the boilers working, leave it alone, a new boiler will need servicing and new bits on a regular basis, I fitted loads of these boilers and they just kept going and going, there was no boiler sales shops then, there was no need, now there are boiler sales shops on every corner and an average boiler spares price is £100, its a created market, thanks for that PB its realy refreshing to see a educated person not spreading bullshit ,

Yes all good honest advice in that video. They've corrupted the service engineers mind with commission incentives to boost their wages, which now means they'll tell lies on behalf of the big crooked companies. The service engineer must take the hard sell approach and leave with the customer buying something off him, since they've allowed him in their home so it's not seen as cold calling - yes I'll fix your boiler, now here's the catch, if you take insurance, cleaning product, electrical cover etc etc! They've made the simple working man, rob this fellow simple working man, which previously was the fabric which held us all together - it will only get worse for the hard working man. On a different theme but these are the types who corrupted the hard working man - This made me wonder how they get away with it - Some amazing financial skullduggery... www.theguardian.com/news/2017/sep/07/how-the-aristocracy-preserved-their-power

What amazed me more than anything is that I didn't even know TONY HADLEY was a heating engineer, and that's 'TRUE'

They've corrupted the service engineers mind with commission incentives to boost their wages, If it's BG we're on about then, sorry battle you're wrong there. BG don't employ service engineers any longer. They might call them service engineers, but they're actually out and out "salesmen"

Probably got rid of them because they were too good at repairing boilers, but worded as "Failed to meet targets for new installations."
