Hullo my fellow plumbers!
I'm just wondering....Does anyone use a rule of thumb for sizing heating pipework?
I have a job with around 20 radiators with and a run roughly 15m long from boiler to furthest rad...
Would you be tempted to run the flow and return in 28mm or would that be overkill? The rads aren't massive mostly 600x1200 singles...
Many thanks!

hello mrlennie, welcome to the brew cabin,
my rule is I run 22mm and tee half the rads off, ( 10 in your case) then drop to 15 and tee the other 10 off the 15mm, for those rads 10mm will be sufficient,
10mm will deliver 10.000 btu's and a 600 x 1200 single will give out 4.000 btus so 10mm will piss it,
