then reassemble and test the termacouple and pilot, Attachment Deletedto test the thermacoiuple, turn the grey knob clockwise a quarter turn the pilot will go out, then wait, there should be at least 20 seconds before you hear a click, thats the thermacouple 'letting go' of the magnet inside, if there's less than 10 seconds, replace the thermacouple, the pilot should be blue with no yellow, if there's yellow replace the injector, the bit of yellow you see in this pilot is a bit of carbon on the t/couple, i cleaned that off,

check the flame picture Attachment Deletedthe flame needs to be mostly blue with no 'candling' flames,the flame here is pretty good the camera does't do justice to the picture,

the fire surround just hooks on the main fire body which screws to the wall,
