& im bricking it.
Got a customer who had a leak from a compression elbow under kitchen sink
Really awkward to get to, painted pipes, covered in green shite,
Anyway, I get there & sink cupboard is full so I'm not happy. I throw everything out to have a look. Right in corner where cupboards join. Couldn't really get to it to tighten. I managed to get a 12" stilson to turn it a bit but there's still something. Not much but I can feel it.
Not sure what to do. The nut won't budge anymore & im not sure where the pipe goes to. It's a hot pipe from combi I know that so I think it just goes up to bathroom. It can be a heating pipe as the kitchen hot branches off if it.
Any thoughts? I've got a pic but it won't upload?

If you can get a pipe slice on cut it and use pushfit and plastic pipe, they're great for tight corners where you can't get spanners, smiley-violent001 hammertime

oh I've just seen the pic,,,no room is there, I'd undo the comp and use paste or ptfe on it first, try that and if that does cure it, its renewing pipes, its gonna be awkward, its a good test for you, boxer

Not sure Tom, this is what happens to me, start doubting myself. I'll go again tomorrow but it's very awkward as you say.
Thx Tom

you're not a boxer no, but taking on a tricky job like that is like boxing, plumbing jobs just can't be walked away from when you start, once you start you HAVE to finish and you HAVE to win, and when you do you've won another challange and your confidence will grow, Go for it rocket you can do it,

The woman rang me again saying it's still dripping!! I said yes I know but it'll be ok until morning, no she's panicking so I went back, not far from me. I undid the nut at the bottom & thought that's strange as it was wobbling, I had a eureka moment, it was a tap connector!!!!! I stuck a fibre washer in & loctite 55 on the thread & tightened it to an inch of my life. Bingo, dry as a camels hump. Emergency call out charged. I told her to wait! Yeahhahhh - all will dry out under there now. Another job jobbed. Tricky but ok. Feeling good.
