Well I've ordered 2 18v Makita bl1830 fir £35
They're usually £50+ each
In taking the chance
But as you told me
Buy cheap but twice
They might be good. Worth a punt I'd say

Problems will come to you without buying them.

Ahh I see.
Do you have a Howdens near you?
They're for chippies really but I opened an account the other week, I'll never use them though.
I only did it as they were giving me a 12v Milwaukee impact driver with case, charger & batt
Anyway I've got a Makita 18v one so I sold the Milwaukee for £50 (cheap that) & put the money towards the radio.
So, open an account, it's free & you get a tool. It was either the impact driver or a 12v Multitool - both Milwaukee

yes there's an howens near me, I'll go open an account next week, its handy anyway for units and plinths and stuff, they're miles cheaper than B&POO for the odd bits of kitchen,

I try to steer clear but they sell tools as well so I might use them. It's worth an account for the freebie.

For 18v Makita I've bought several of the clone Makita batteries with great success. Just go onto Amazon & punch in 'Toolsdown'. HTH
