Is it a newish toilet? 6 litre flushes are rubbish. Whoever thought that reg up wants shooting, you waste more water because you need 2-3 flushes. If it is a low volume flush then you've little hope of sorting it out. If there's signs of a blockage, like water level in pan rising when flushed then you might have some success if you clear it. You could explain this and ask if they want to try a new flush valve but you can't guarantee success, that way you get paid for changing the valve with no come backs if it doesn't improve. I'd say flapper valves have the highest flow rate, so would be worth a punt if they want you to have a go.

And if a new flush doesn't sort it, you can always fit a different loo, again you'd explain that regulations limit the flush size so no guarantees.

I had one like this - take some of your toilet paper and try it cause these people buy stuff which doesn't absorb water quick enough.

As it got a flush pipe connection on it Rocky?
If it has does the amount of horizontal flush pipe exceed the amount of vertical flush pipe?
If so the cistern will need lifting and a taller flush pipe fitting.
The vertical height needs to be a least the same as the horizontal flat to get a decent flush ( more even better).

Someone brought this up with a water regulations bloke on a course I was on quite a few years ago JC. He answered the question by saying that "manufacturers don't always listen to what we are telling them".

Tell em to change their diet to something that doesn't create floaters.

I once went to a job for the same complaint - the custard had attached 3 of those hanging over the bowl toilet fresheners to the bowl. I removed them (much to the custards discontent) and it flushed everything away once more - I explained that the water needs to run unimpeded right around the rim for the toilet to flush correctly; the custard wasn't happy with me though. "Why do they make them then"? "They wouldn't make them it they caused the toilet not to flush would they"?

Check that none of the toilet ports aren't blocked rocky, Does the cistern seem to empty quickly enough? I agree with PB about checking the ports. Also try taking the cistern off and check that the flush water entry hole in the pan under the CC doughnut is completely clear. I had a similar case and found a bit of celophane inside stopping the water from flowing properly around the rim. Save
