But an issue
Got a customer who curtain pole fell down.
It looks like it's been up & down from the 4 holes.
It's a solid wall. Any tips so it doesn't come down again? The holes that are there are all big & blown now. I'm not sure refilling the holes will allow fresh drilling.
Any views?
Cheers

Modern or old house Rocket.
Meaning solid wall no cavity or solid wall with cavity?

Rock if you can't put more plugs in and longer screws like Tom says, try whittling a wooden spike about 5" long and 1/4 or thereabouts thick, dab a bit of Polyurethane glue or gripfill on it if you got any, just watch the carpets, if not the spike should be ok once you hammer it in, cut it off neat and flush then put the brackets back up screwing into the wooden spike, basically it acts as a big plug/wedge.

They are JJ but these people are 100%. I'd go out of my way for them. Great people. I did however have another Indian grab me the same day, I live around the corner bud bud, conservatory wood rotten bud bud, can your fix, errrr..... no, I can't. I'm not a magician. Ok, but you can look? Errr... no, no time friend. Sorry.

If the pole brackets have to be where the old holes are, I'd consider fixing a timber batten right across above the window and screw the brackets to that. Paint the batten the same as the wall.
