Got a call out yesterday from a couple I've done a bit of work for in the past. They'd had a new smart meter fitted but the installer had capped the supply because there was a big drop on the pressure test. I also did the test and it was losing 8mbar in the two minutes so had a look around and found the pipework split into two parts - one to the kitchen and the other into the rest of the house. I got my sniffer out and eventually found a gas leak under a restrictor elbow in the dining room. I capped the branch of pipework heading into the house and now the pressure holds up.

How will the pipework connect up into the bottom, assuming it's run in 15mm?
And just to make things harder, it's popping up out of a sold floor.
