I remember my years when every plumber had a candle in his toolbag, Then one year when i was on pricework and you went into a newly plastered house on sites, you could't see nothing past 2pm in winter, So a had a car battery and a 12volt spot light wired together in a wooden box with a radio connected as well, it weighed a ton but was worth the carry because I could work till 5pm when all the other trades had fucked off, toms tips had not been invented then, if it had the world would have changed and i would be a millionaire now,

So I picked up the Big Larry light from shitfix and tried it out in a loft and I'm very impressed, it is super bright on full power and half power is good enough for working in. The beam it gives off is a 180 spread so great in lofts etc. They also do a little Larry which I will get for plumbergirl to keep in her car because I'm nice like that.

These would be good in the back of your van for extra light.

I think they'd be great in the back of the van they have magnetic backs so easy to position anywhere in there.
