That wiring above boiler looks like shoite. Total mess. I couldn't live with that. Would have to have the whole install ripped out.

Rocket I like his style, it's engineered and shows planning with attention to detail.
Whats the assembly the mains water is going into before the boiler, it not a manufacturer piece of kit I recognise?

Hello battle It’s s water softener he uses & I think he put a scale inhibitor on this as well I’ll find out the name of the water softener. It’s filled will balls, that need replacing yearly I think.

Cheers Rocket, awaiting to be educated further Mind I do agree the electrician could of made more of an effort, it's not like he's working with armoured cable, but most I've seen electrically pay so little attention to detail and he's only got the wireless stat and a fuse spur.

Do you fit many of those PB? Not really battle but I do get asked to install water softeners like Kinetico or Harveys or BWT, Harveys and kinetico are the best as they are water powered and no electric needed so they only regenerate on measured water usage which makes the electric ones shite as they regenerate on a timer normaly programmed for early hours of the morning which means using more water & salt.
