I don't normally do plumbing vids, but I thought the first CWS tank that I'd done in over 5 years was worth a little vid.
Anyone else remember doing their last CWS tank?
As every galvanised tank now been changed for plastic?.

I can remember my last one,work for british gas(dyno plumbing )the chap gave me 25 quid tip!1787034013 yippee you dont forget those ones!!! Great vid mate MORE! Awe, you missed out there then Tom they are quite good and very comfortable for sitting on too. Yes, it's the freebie PB. The answer to my quick question was told to me by my plumbing tutor sometime in 74/75. A tank becomes a cistern when you put a lid on it. I've never come across this explanation anywhere since but "hey ho" it'll do for me  |

I got one of those poofix freebie kneeling mats, I really like it. saves putting knee pads in and out all day. I don't keep them in when I don't need to, they make my knees hot, so the kneeling pad is brill. I'm currently sat on it cos my computer chair isn't cumfy so it doubles as a cushion  |

when i was a young girl, it was my job to fill the tank to the palace, I carried lots of buckets up the very long stairways, It was a chore that i hated but it was shared between myself and the young assistant Lord plumbtom of the castle, One day the sinks went dry because the tank was empty, King george was very upset and shouted, " Lizzy get that fucking tank filled up you lazy little brat" I was very afraid and answered , " but Papa, its his turn" Papa was very deaf and replied, " cistern, what the fuck you on about girl, get it filled now" , Lordplumtom then came up with the idea of the tank filling itself, Hence the term the cistern was born,
