It's top bollock last resort fix that one mate. Drill the hole deep, but make sure all dust is removed from the hole by Hoover or small brush, inject the chemical into the hole, then push the rod in the full depth. Should cure fully after about two hours, tighten up washers and nuts and hopefully be job done. Could also do as Tom suggested and take the threaded bar right through the wall, and you've got the strongest fixing possible for your situation mate.

Have used the Fischer make several times bud, extremely strong stuff, only downside is its a use once and destroy product, once the chemicals mix together in the tube you can't stop it curing so if you've got loads of holes to do you gotta get a move on!  |

Very true, my van got done on site 8years ago 11am, the police came round my house(20 miles away from the site)8.30pm the same day, I asked what fucking good is that as the pikeys were now long gone, they said they responded as quick as they could!!? And their sterling advice was to check local cash generator for my nicked gear! Four days later I got a nice letter stating they weren't looking into it anymore due to lack of evidence. Complete waste of time, far easier to book someone doing 34miles an hour. |
