I went to an arranged job for the crack of 9.30 am,( my usual start time) the owner is away in London but told me the plasterer is there, he will let me in and he's left the money with him, I got there 9.20 am ( I always get there early), No one in, no van,no plasteres foot prints,no sign of life, I waited till 9.45 then dropped a card throu the door and went home,
3.30 pm the guy phones from London, Why did you not turn up this morning in a angry tone, So I told him i did and no one was there, he then said in the same angry tone, the plasterer was there from 8.30am and was in all day, So i said are you calling me a liar ? in an equally angry tone, he said, well someone is lying, I said I've no need to lie and no need to do any work at your house now, and hung up,
