I maybe a pedantic twat, but I’m right handed & like tapes with the Metric on the bottom or all Metric tapes.
if your holding the tape in your left hand - which I normally do & the Metric scale is on the bottom, it’s just easier to mark pipes & stuff. Oh & pencil behind the right ear of course!
Thoughts please Gentlemen.

I use my right hand to hold the tape, I've never though about it before, perhaps I'll try using the left to see if its easier, I'll give it a go later today,  |
