Went to look at the water softener job. Injun. Seemed ok. Not straightforward, all pipes under sink need adjustment to fit the unit.
Quoted her £300. Straight away she said how about a discount!! No thx.
The price is the price
I’ll do it for £300, I’m not really interested in it.

Rocket you've got to make enough loot in any job so that you're happy to put up with the stress and challenges that job gives you.
Also £300 seems fair to me.

Yeah, it’s not straightforward, the sink isn’t on an outside wall so to put the overflow outside the built in dishwasher & washing machine need to be pulled out, that means the plinths need removing & lights disconnecting, all pipework under sink needs moving back to make space for Softner, its just one of those ballache jobs that will rake time. I’d do it but for £300. |
