Went out to this job this morning and customer was saying they kept getting a small puddle on the floor I checked the discharge pipe wasn't backing up and all was clear, the air gap had gone so needed a recharge but I put it on to heat first to see what was happening as it heated up it leaked from the drain off new washer job done 1787034013 yippee Attachment Deleted

Drain down for a 10p washer Ffs No the hose was back up Rocky with these unvented you can create a vacuum and change the washer very quickly mate.

hose pipe as back up,,,nice one PB, its always better to have things ready if disaster strikes, running up and down stairs for hose pipes and looking for stop taps is not good if a joint blows, good preperation is essential, first think what can happen, then make things ready for if it does, Its always better to have and not need than. to need and do not have,,,

y ๐ have perk up like a dog,how do you create the vacuum,sir? it will form itself endfeed, you shut the water off, if the water can't get in, the outlet cant get out, it might dribble,but will have no force,

Same principal works on a sealed system.
