Endfeed you say blast of mains pressure water ::::: So iam thinking you removed the radiator then the rad valves off the tail pipes then you made up a hose pipe stepping down to 8mm then connected it to 1-off the tail pipes coming out of the wall ( 8mm ) then connected other end of your made up hose pipe to mains supply and gave it a quick blast of mains water pressure ..... Question ::: how long did you give it on the mains water 1 minute or what ( seconds ) how long And can you tell me have I described your actions correctly ??

If valves are ok I would suggest blockage in pipework. In my case I connect small piece of15mm to lockshild ,connected my hose to 15mm copper then quick 5 sec blast of mains did the trick the pipe work dropping down to rad was 8mm,cheers mate hope this helps

Hi all, Couple of years ago I had very little domestic hot water in the taps from the coil in tank. I got a Magna flow fitted and everything was good. There was one Rad that was turned off at the TRV and with the cold spell it was turned on but no heat. I unscrewed TRV and pin was down so lifted it up but no heat. Blead the Rad but no air. Turned off all Rads up and downstairs to direct heat to dodgy Rad but no heat. Turned on all upstairs but after 30mins no heat at dodgy Rad. Turned all Rads but still no heat at dodgy Rad. Any ideas from the Panel?

I had a dodgy rad years ago, blew through both pipes, both valves swapped, kept comin back in, in the end i lifted boards above and it was the only rad in house piped in plastic!!every other one was copper, this one dropped in plastic 10mm from 22mm copper. I renewed in 10mm copper sorted. The plastic 10mm was packed solid with black mush. Maybe if chemicals had been added wouldnt have happened.

Did the gunk gather around the insert to a fitting by any chance? insert in plastic pipe, just seem like a flow restrictor to me.🤔 I prefer copper on heating!plastic v copper, let the battle commence!

Copper is king & plastic is queen.

Has this been fixed? Dealt with a nasty blockage today. Rockey I assume you've been working on an open vented system, to have contamination like that? Also did you locate the pinch points with a magnet or just change the pipework near the deaerator?

We’ll battle we took the floor up & identified what pipe was what then my mate said it was probably where the T was which was near the pump! So I cut the pipe & had a good look, bingo, cut more out & redid it, took pump off, all ok, quite clean.

It always seems to clog at the tee were the cold feed enters, wonder why it gathers there?

For a blocked radiator pipe; fit one of these into a 15mm compression fitting & connect it to the disconnected radiator valve, use a foot pump & pump some air pressure in. That’ll generally clear the shit, even on 8mm pipe: rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F320843771432If both the Flow & Return pipes to the radiator are not blocked, perhaps the radiator is full of shite? Remove the radiator & take it outside, then blast it with Mains water with a hose until it runs clean. Giving it a few bumps with a rubber mallet helps too. Be careful with TRV pins, you can pull the fuckers fully out very easily!! And that’s not good for erindoor’s white shag pile! Spray with silicone spray & push back & forward a few times, that should do it. And stay out of the yummy mummy’s knicker drawer, dirty old bastard!!(oh oops sorry, that was a note to self).
