Replaced a fortic today

Took ages to drain

2 immersions, cold in, hot out, all good

Couple of lever valves, a ballofix

All good

We were in at 10 & fine by 12.15,

Good job

2 boiler next week so far

Things are looking up again!!

That's the direct one Rocky (Fortic direct, Elson indirect - I think)?

I used to do a lot of these at one time - not many these days.

Draining them was a right ball ache alright.
I used to take the top Immersion heater out when the water was low enough, then syphon the remainder out through the I/H boss with copper pipe and hose attached - it defiantly quickened up the draining process.
