Always on the output side so the pump can vent back if needed, but what causes it to hunt ? Leakage internally within the shower valve. smiley-sad056 nay only does it briefly when shower is turned off

It's caused by limescale build up with in the pump What's that limescale doing to give the hunting fault? When they shut the shower off its a shock affect back at the pump and limescale moves about and sets the flow switches off until it settles down, the non returns stops it happening. If you get a pump that kicks in periodically throughout the day you either have a shower valve letting by or the pump is knackered, switch the outlets off if it stops you have let by if it don't the pump is smiley-chores037 binsout
