Not put the pump in the system correctly, he should of connected to the stored water source for the cold not the mains cold.

Negativie / positive head Basin etc. taps lower than the shower head. Correct Rocky he doesn't have enough head pressure at the shower head to activate the pump, if it has a flexi shower hose lower it in to the shower tray then switch it on, the pump will recognise flow and kick in.

It pumps hot and cold at the basin and the cold to the toilet but no flow at the shower it just dribbles out The shower is airlocked and should he of used a negative pressure pump system (the one with the accumulators on it) to solve the flow at start issue due to limited water head.

Not air battle but the non return valves are part of the cure, which side of the pump would you fit them ?

Always on the output side so the pump can vent back if needed, but what causes it to hunt ?

Always on the output side so the pump can vent back if needed, but what causes it to hunt ? Leakage internally within the shower valve.
