this shit works a treat, I sprayed my mouldy tiles with it, then went for a brew, then went back to do some scrubbing and to my suprize the mould had dissapeared, could't believe how good it worked, and its only a £5 form B&Q,, Attachment Deleted |

Does it work on't grouting n'all Tom? Ours in't shower was done about 6 yrs ago and some of it has become discoloured wi the water (unbelievably it's gone a shade of pink, which I personally think seems to be cause by the copper pipes,, could be wrong though... Anyone else ever seen this?)

Yeah, it's fairly common JJ.
I think it's when an amount of tile adhesive gets pushed into the joint on installation and that it's this adhesive that makes it discolour over time.

Used to use Domestos 'Grotbuster' on the silicone to remove mould, but I don't see it being sold anywhere these days. Trying to remove discolouration from grout is very difficult. Ours went grey some time ago. I tell the wife that white tiles with grey grout is the latest colour scheme in modern bathrooms.

I’ve tried cheap to expensive silicone, mound free, screwfix bargain to the best makes & still mould appears.

Play it smarter Rocky, You use it, don't let her know how easy it is, when the tiles are sparkling clean, Say, I've scrubbing them tiles for hours and it was hard graft but its worth the work, look how clean they are now, You'll get extra benefits for a week,,, |

I did the Tiles and she was over the moon, then she said, We need a new toilet seat now, that one is looking a bit tired now, and it was a light bulb moment i thought " YAAAA" that will make a super pressie,,,,,,,,,,,wrong again, sad 1 you just cannot figure the mind of a woman, smiley-sad056 nay
