I will use this top tip if I ever come across it, would tire wraps be a good idea whilst the s/w is doing its magic.,.

Thanks Tom, funny old game this plumbing, been doing it about 15 years and never had to fix a hole in a soil this way before. Anyone need 2.7m of half round gutter? I'll have some left

yea, thats what I use in the video, tie wraps, anything to hold it in place, jubilee clips, leccy wire, bungee cords, belt and buckle, lasso, grandads old brasses, be inventive,,

Well I fettled it this afternoon in the rain, didn't hang around long enough to take the ties off but it felt pretty solid after 5 minutes though. Cheers Tom, you saved me a ballache of a job, without this tip I would have been replacing a section of soil and would have needed a slip coupler - in the rain
