Also been fitting a IKEA sink! All going well until fitting the IKEA waste!! What a fooking joke! I've slung waste in bin and going to buy a proper one! going back next Fri ,bloody IKEA🙄

I've been trying to solve a mystery leak in a washer room this morning - it was thought to be coming from under the sink kick board. No pipes under it though when I took it off ! I was stumped for a while, before deciding to put all the 3 washers through a washing cycle. It wasn't until washer #3 emptied that the water came flooding out (the waste pipe was only partially in the stand pipe at the back)!!! A nice steady morning job though  |

A nice steady morning job though Well done Tappy - what type of establishment to have three washing machines? It's a laundry/drying room for an OAPs group living complex, not an OAPs home though, it's for OAPs who need a just a little bit of extra care. It's a nice place to live for OAPs, methinks. The floor was not level and it did look at first like it was a leak from under the sink because it was the floors lowest point, hence, where all the water gathered. The washer repair man had been out to the closest washer because this was thought to be where the leak was coming from at first. I often think plumbers have to be like Columbo, looking for clues and asking questions in order to make investigations into all manner of mystery leaks. I had my raincoat on too !!  |
