Putting a dishwasher in,am I right in thinking just fit one of these in 40 mm pipe running around back,no trap needed?

As far as I know, they have a built in NRV that should stop smells coming back out, so no trap needed.

Am sure you can use that as a condesate adapter istead of mcalpine clamp but you just need to messabout with the fittings to fit diameter i did it once when caught short on job without fitting and yeah it has nrv inside also and there cheaper than mcalpine clamp

I had to use one today endfeed. Looks nice and tidy PB but why not just use a washing machine standpipe set up, oh and what machine was attached to it? |

That was my plan mate but it's a narrow kitchen and it made the machine stick out to much. This was for a dishwasher battle, the guy had moved in and brought new appliances and when the delivery guys went to fit it they realised there was no connection, just a pipe and I could tell that a compression coupler had been on the end so the previous people took the lot.  |
