Can you still loosen the grub screw & rotate the control valve 90degrees, to adjust with your thumb when in use? Or is that not the same torch?
By the way, if you’re short of a few bob after Xmas: the Chinese Gas Torch from Whanking Industries (Hong Kong) Ltd is quality!!

I'll have a look at that battle, I've never done it myself, so I'll see if its possible and if it is, we'll take it in the studio foto

just had a quick shufftie in the shed, there is a grubscrew and the torch nozzle will pull out, but its not twistable because the little pipe going from the handset to the nossle is fixed, so it has no where to go, Dick must be talking about a differant model,

For trying though Tom.

You have a 2mm grub screw top and bottom of the control knob meaning you can twist it like this. Cheers for that PB - everyday is a school day here.

Off the subject a bit but the monument one I thought was double threaded isn’t but it’s broken. You know the bottom bit that fits into the gas bottle before twisting, it snapped off. I pull the bit out of the bottle & the bit in the bottom of the torch twisted out. I’ve no idea what it’s called but I’ve looked online for a spare bit no luck. If I can get one then it’ll be a spare torch
Any ideas?
