Went to a job today that another plumber had already been to, a friend of these people recommend me to them story is they have a monsoon positive head shower pump 2 yrs old and they have 2 showers feed from this also 2 basins and one bath, the pump would kick in with all demands apart from one shower which could take 5 mins to kick in jvtsl41E0pOEtzQWTQLo thumbs down The first plumber tried to convince the customer it was a pump issue and not recognising flow and then they phoned me smiley-talk002 3 amigos I'm thinking this plumber is a dickhead, the pump kicks in on demand from other appliances and this shower worked upto very recently, it points to one thing and that's the shower valve smiley-confused002asak2 I stripped it down cleaned it and greased it and they now have it working again. Some of these plumbers ain't plumbers they are fucking idiots.

What they got there was a classic case of what Dick calls, A hard of thinking plumber, a part changer, he's change the pump and when did't work, he'd repipe the house, and finally, though at what stage, no one can guess, he'd change the shower and write in his portfolio, done a motherfucker of a job today, took me a while but i got there,

Customer emailed me today saying the first plumber rang them and asked if they wanted the pump changing, if the pump was faulty they have a 5yr guarantee anyway.

Had our new leather recliner sofa delivered yesterday. Whilst taking the old one out I failed to notice the hallway light right in the way (as we struggled to get it down the narrowish hallway) Next thing I know, the lamp in it hits me on't head and smashes on't floor.. Never mind, we finally got the old one outside. Got back in and the fookin lampholder is in fookin pieces. Ordered a new one from SF and when I got home from work, turned the lighting circuit off and ten minutes. I was God.. "Let there be light." I saw the light and saw that it was good, so I rested with me arse on't new sofa. Just a case of seeing which wires go where and connecting the new lampholder up in the same way (not rocket science) That's why I didn't call Stephen Hawking (Anyrode he would never have managed to get up the stepladders) Could have called my mate up, but he'd have charged me "mates rates" and probably told us we need a re-wire and a new consumer unit to bring it up to 17th regs

I think that you have to have a metal consumer unit nowadays JJ (after 40 years of plastic ones), costing us extra ££££££ every time you send for an electrician. They certainly know what they are doing these building regulations regulators
