Morning chaps, I have a hinged shower screen that I want to fix in place but can't find what I need to do it. I thought there would be something like the black bit in the following pic if you can see what I'm getting at. Attachment DeletedAnyone know of anything like this? It's for my bathroom so want it to look nice

the ones I've done come with a channel that fixes to the wall, then the panel has a metal edge that sits into the channel and fixed with a couple of self tappers,

Do you know the manufacture of your product or is it bought unboxed and without instal instructions? I've installed it right, it's the bathroom wall that is so out that I'm having to think of a way to seal it I was hopeful when I saw what was on the link but it would need to bridge the gap Same Don’t usually buy anything separately What have you got? A shower screen that screws to the wall? yeah it's a hinged one, but I am thinking about converting it to a fixed one. the ones I've done come with a channel that fixes to the wall, then the panel has a metal edge that sits into the channel and fixed with a couple of self tappers, Yeah that's what this is like, fitted loads without issues, problem is my wall is so pissed that there's a 4mm gap at one end and a 22mm gap at the other so nigh on impossible to get a seal. It's adjustable but doesn't go far enough to get the screen level with the bath. I've ordered a new deep seal that may sort it, but I have kids who won't be as careful as me when showering so if the deep sealing trim doesn't sort it I would prefer to just fix the screen in place. Also considering chocking the wall fixing at one end then filling the gap with silicone to get the edge of the glass running parallel to the bath. The whole bathroom is tiled and they don't make the tiles any more, so would be a nightmare to try and straighten the wall up.

All I can think of is , is something like a firring strip to fix to the wall to at least bring the bottom of the screen level along the bath. A photo would be nice so we can see first hand the problem you're having jc.

I had to fit a bearing kit to a shower door (Showerlux) and it had a twin channel to get past the issue it had close to 20mm offset - simple but effective, could look at there product for a work around possibly. Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted
