Bettabathrooms suit and they've choise those stupid column taps coming out of the floor, they procied delivery for today, Everything came except the taps, Without the taps the floor cannot be finished cos all the pipework is under the floor, The tiler is booked for friday, the taps have now been promiced for dinner time tomorrow, which probably means 4 o clock,
Last one ever, I can't be doing with this, roll on fishing season,, smiley-sad056 nay

I also gave up on fitting private bathrooms over 10 years ago when I discovered the ex-display WC had been delivered without any parts inside, hence, putting another day on the job and the custard and their cats kept continually getting in my way.
I've not done one since.

No bathrooms here either. Too much fooking around, cheap crap fittings/sanitary ware, customers changing their minds, etc, etc, etc. I'll fit individual WCs, basins, etc - but bathroom refurbs = take a hike!

update, the tap came today and the builder recieved it at 2pm, so he phoned me, Now normally I'd say i'll get to you when i can, but i like this builder, he's not like any other I've ever worked for, I got to the job and plumbed the taps in, floor mounted shit taps that are going to be buried under ply then tiles, a disaster waiting to happen, So its been a late finish for me today, I saw the bath too, its a massive bath and i know they'll not be happy because the tap is fed from 8mm inlets, so to fill that bath will take a good half hour, I don't know why people like these bathrooms, But anyway i did my bit and everyone's smiling up to now,,  |

no its a design thing, Bettabathrooms, bathstore and all the fancy showrooms show baths with no pipes on show, the wimmin like it but don't realize the pipe is a working piece of kit, if its made smaller to hide, its not going to work as good, they only realize this too late,  |

It's like everything else these days - all show. The bath probably won't get used as most people shower. Bit like some of my wealthier customers who have 40 grand kitchens like something out of Ideal Home Exhibition. Trouble is, the 'all fur coat, no knickers' wives can't boil a fookin egg.
Still, it all looks good on TwatChat, Instagran or SitOnYerFaceBook - all about showing off.
