Hi
The blank in this towel rail us weeping.
If it won't tighten I can replace.
Can I ask, if I close both valves at the bottom & then bleed rad until water stops spraying out, can I remove the blank & change it or will I need to drain the rad?

as you say rocket, If both valves are working it will stop the water going in so relieving the pressure inside with the bleed valve will allow you to change the vent, always be prepared though for a bit to spill out, a couple of towels or a dushsheet handy, I have a couple of empty toffee tins as water catchers too,  |
