Drain valves

Evening Gentlemen!! I know there’s been a huge void due to my absence, which can only be put down to my February Mega Bender!
Yes, some will bet horses & lose money - where as me; I drink whisky, cider, Buckfast & lose days/weeks!!
But hey I’m philosophical about it.

Any Road, the time old problem of the fucked washer in the MT drain cock.  Here’s what I do, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t:  Unscrew the fucker, remove the jumper, PTFE around the thread & refit. Get a small screwdriver in the spout & try to lever the fucked washer off the seat, if she starts to flow water, get a hose on quickly.
