Hi all.
My elderly neighbour is replacing her old Appollo wall hung boiler after 35+ yrs service.
Bet that would have been three combis by now, so the little bit less efficiency of its gravity water system hasn't cost them anything. Just think of the breakdown charges alone over the life of 3 combis.
Anyway thats by the by, the new combi is going in the same place, next to the old 2 channel prog, and the fitter wants to supply a wireless stat timer. The lady gets confused putting her slippers on, but she can manage her mechanical clock timer.
Am I right in thinking you can wire one channel of the existing one to the combi. If not I will reccomend he fits a single channel mechanical clock for her of the same make.
