Update on the bath taps swap enquiry - he found a ‘plumber’ to do it for £40!! Crack on I said! £40 !!!!!! You'd have to be some kind of cunt to do that for £40 .... You can sit at home and earn fuck all and not wear your tools and van out, this plumber is doing jobs for fuck all and wearing his gear out, what a wanker ! You need a vehicle to get there. You need public liability You need tools and the skills Does the water turn off easy Does the bath panel come off easy if the bath panel breaks, how do you deal with it? Who pays? When I worked at shitty dino plumbing we had to get custered to sign a disclaimer!! |

Just had one burst pipe so far it was an outside pipe to an outside tap.
The stop-tap was seized so I had to do it live with a pipe slice and a push-fit stop end.
The silly bugger customer then only wanted me to fix the stop-tap.
I said to him that's another day-when the snow has gone!
It's too cold to be shovelling snow searching for a boundary stop-tap that's probably not going work should you find it!

Ask yourself this? Do you want to attract the cheapskate problem clients??that be a big fat NO, So better to sit at home for one day, swerve that one, then do a nice proper job for a decent (proper) price later in week

2 burst pipes yesterday, 3 today. Turned down about 6 probable frozen condensates yesterday and a couple today. Also had a mate wanting me to drop everything for his frozen condensate yesterday, he fixed it in 10 mins once I told him what to do. This was in the eaves of a dormer bungalow today.. Attachment DeletedTook forever to trace behind a plastic ceiling, then a tonge and groove, then plasterboard, then floorboard in the eaves, all from underneath...
