Shower frozen at home

I am pleased to announce that this morning I went to my shower cubicle and no water came out and I didn’t hear the dull whine of the  Stuart turner chorus. Yes my pump for the shower is in the loft above the lagging. It had frozen. You may say why didn’t you protect it you prick ? .......my answer would be, living in cornwall we NEVER have frost. I’m right on the north coast and apart from the last 3 days I ve never had to scrape ice off the window in the last five years living here.

i enjoyed the drama...made me feel like a panicking custard for a minute or too
