They are shite and I've had call backs on quite a few, they start sounding like concord is taking off when they start throttling down. www.toolstation.com/shop/p55538?table=noScrewfix ones are fine and obviously the pegler ones are the Are you getting a Water Hammer with them PB?

thanks for the heads up PB, I've always bought the shitfix ones, but I might have got some from toolshop if I was there already for summut else, untill now, trouble is with both toolshop and screwfix, they give you a new one, no question, but its the time going back and changing they won't compensate you for sad 1

Yes water hammer Dick, I even installed a hammer arrestor on first job and it made no difference so swapped it out for a pegler one and problem sorted so I've been swapping them out as the call backs come in.

I'd say 75% of the part 2's I've fitted have been from toolstation, not had any issues that I know of. I've noticed that they usually need to be tightened up as the big nut on the arm end, the plastic flow directing nozzle bit and the connection to the spigot are often loose when you get them.

yea JC I've noticed that too, also I've had more than enough were the plastic 'spout' has broke, I now check the spout in store to be sure its undamaged, As one time the Matron in the screwshit store said, " you must have dropped it on the floor" cheeky twat, smiley-taunt005 show bum
