Would it look silly having 2 showers in one cubicle. already have electric shower which i hate and was thinking to fit a thermostatic mixer shower too. Reason why don't want to remove electric shower is if boiler breaks down it still will work.

I got the same set up in my bathroom, shower off the combi, which we use mostly because its far better than a leccy one, and on the opposite wall, a leccy one for back up,, does it look silly ? who cares,,,

I went from a leccy shower to a combi feb mixer couple of months ago. Ripped the leccy one out, I get the idea of having a backup shower, but if your combi does break you're only going to be a couple of days maximum without hot water, I don't think it's worth leaving the electric one there to cover a couple of days out of 5 years.

I also isolated the the water to elec shower right back to the tee so water was not sitting stagnant ๐

I've only been to one job with two shower systems in the same cubical and it had a valid and very functional purpose and was used daily. It was a family of four girls and both parents.
The system was vented type with a 180 litre stored water tank and 3 bar shower pump, which was used for normal showering etc but hair washing required the electric shower as the tank couldn't refill or heat quick enough if all members of the family showered after each other and the girls washed their hair before the electric shower install.

Personally, I don't like a lot of clutter, so I would go with a single shower. I'm struggling to ever remember ever seeing a choice of showers in a shower cubicle or even over a bath. However,we're plumbers and plumbers do odd things to their own properties at times. Having two hanging shower heads would constantly be getting in my way and annoy me ,so it's a no vote from me aj
