Great day
Had outdoor work booked but got cancelled at too wet.
Thought it was a right off then someone had a leak.
Went there at 11.
House refurb, water dripping through ceiling. Wet room above, all tiled.
Searched hi & low. Was about to rip ceilings downs then I shon my light at a fitting in a wall, bingo, so lucky. Bought fixing & took 3 goes to seal it. All ok, dry on last effort. Then he wanted ch system up & running, so pressurised combi, bled rads & all ok. Then he wanted hot & cold on, filled system, hot taps all ok. Cold ok, 1 waste leak under sink, then drip when shower ran. All tiled in. Tested & concluded under shower tiled floor. Also both concealed system toilets didn’t fill.
Investigated toilets, not connected up. All ok to do.
I’ll be back Wednesday to sort toilets, fit bit on shower & test again
Paid & all ok
Enjoyed myself as well.
Great day
No boredom- saved my day!

There is still a small issue
The pipe to the shower, Hansgrohe Axor, goes to a backplate elbow then, a tap connector is screwed into it, that’s all ok. The issue is that the tap connection has a plastic elbow screwed into it & into this plastic elbow the shower hose connection (adjustable) is screws on & then the shower hose screws into that.
Anyway, the black plastic elbow is split.
I can find anything similar & I don’t know what it’s called!
The plumber that installed it has cut it to fit.
Any ideas?
Thx all
Rct

usually you will have a 1/2" FI thread finished flush with the wall that will screw into. the chrome cover is removable.
