Did a job last Friday and I had to fit a bypass set for a water softener which I was teeing in just above the stop tap, so I turned it off and drained excess water and cut a section out, all good made some connections and suddenly BANG !!! The stop tap had blown off a water is pissing out like a fountain  A bit of Friday excitement, it's not the first time either  |

It adds to the excitement battle  old iso's can be a nightmare when you stick your screwdriver in and turn it off and that bit then fly's out and water pisses out |

thats what happens when the iso has been installed the wrong way, its happened to me as well, One time in a tower block of offices, the stop tap was in the basement and only the caretaker had the key to the basement, I had to twat the copper pipe flat to stop the water, smiley-whacky086 fan shit
