do you use plumbers mait on kitchen sink waste too end feed I like to roll a sausage and put it under the metal strainer,and use the rubber on the underneath,I dont like to use silicone as it makes the rubber washer slide about when tightening. Im a belt and braces man! Wear 2 condoms too

do you not use sealant on the flexi pipe thingabob (overflow to waste) I do drop a bit of silcone on the over flow. Never on the rubber washers though I hate call backs get loads of shit at work, so I spend extra time on the job.
