Thank you all for the invaluable help I've had by reading your posts (and watching your vids Tom) I have just changed a set of bath taps on a bath that was boxed and tiled in.......not easy I can tell you. Especially as, for some weired reason, the DIY maniac who did the original work decided to prop the bath up with a breeze block just where it would make it extremely awkward for access to the pipework. Ive learned plumbing and how to be a contortunist!! It was very frustrating trying to undo tap connectors by touch as I couldn't see what I was doing!! Anyhow saved myself a few quid..... any ideas on how much this would have cost me? Forgot to say that one of the taps just swivelled around and wouldn't unscrew so I had to hacksaw the ba$t@rd off !!!

thanks for the feedback coppernob, Yes changing bath taps is a toughie, getting both hands in is impossible but often its needed, you did well to do it as a diyer, well done you, A plumber would have charged at least £50

You plumbers deserve every penny. Most people just look at the result.....and don't appreciate all the effort teeth grinding and silent swearing. Not to mention grazed knuckles
