Seen a couple of good deals on ebay to top up vanstock endfeed fittings, big multi pack £50, item description says manufactured to BS864, I googled this ,and this has been superceded by another BS in 1990 ,is this nothing to worry about? And they good to go, just regulations gone crazy maybe, anyone know

I've never been one for regs and rules, I don't see how an endfeed fitting can be against any regs at all, not unless they made out of steel or plastic,,,

Im thinking similar, if it was good enough in 1990 , its good enough today? 🧐 only one way to find out, buy em and solder em !!

I can only think they might be solder ring fitting with lead solder inside, that might explain it, but endfeed ?? maybe its a april fool sale, you get all sorts on ebay,,,
