Has anyone had a basin waste where it’s secured with a screw like a kitchen / bath waste?

Yes, about 18 years ago though.
I had forgot all about them until your post rocket!
Easy to fit I thought at the time.

I’ve never seen one & think what’s been purchased is wrong as I tried to fit it & the screw stops short of making a water tight seal on the basin. I think it’s a kitchen waste they’ve got! It only hit me this afternoon. Cheers |
