I’ve got a toilet that is leaking from the flexi waste pipe. We’ve changed the waste pipe twice & yep, drip.
Any thoughts on how to fix it?
The toilet has the come out fully to put the waste in & off & it’s becoming a nightmare
Please help me
Please

Hi rocketmanbbk. Are you sure the leak is from the flexi itself? Its unlikely you have had two new leaking flexis.
Could it be the pan itself has a crack or become porous? Or something inside the pan outlet stopping it sealing like old crud/scale or somebody using silicone to bodge it previously?

It’s 100% where the waste pipe connects

As a last resort you could wrap it in denso tape.
Is the flexi a good fit and not under any tension when the toilet is in place?

Flexi seems good

Flexi seems good Denso tape? What wrap around toilet outlet & then out multikik on? you would put the flexi onto the toilet outlet and then wrap denso tape around it. Not sure how easy it would be to make it seal and it would be unsightly if on show so not the best option tbh. Does the flexi have a proper fall on it so there is no standing water inside? people seem to get lazy when using flexis and I have seen installs where the toilet outlet is lower than the soil stack connection. Not by much but enough for water to sit at the seal on the outlet. I have also seen flexis too long/short and or badly routed so that the seal doesn`t sit squarely on the pan outlet.

if you've changed it twice, its unlikey to be 3 bad pan connectors,

denso is a last resort, its messy and looks terrible but if the joint is hidden, no one will know, then get you money and run

It’s a new install
People put it in
It’ll all be hidden so no problems with how it’ll look
