Hello everyone great forum.carnt get enough off toms tips on YouTube So here’s my question I’m coming to the end off my plumbing and heating NVQ level 2 which my employer has fully paid for which I’m fully greatfull off but really want to progress and keep going until I hit my target of being gas safe, but my manager says we have now need to have you gas safe because at the moment company has no need.my face at this point was very sad.but my college provider has told me that my qual is cat 2 and just need to provide my portfolio and then take my ACS exam with a week in the center,so is there anyone out there who is willing to show a very passionate Plumber with his head screwed on to help me with my portfolio.i live in altrincham with full driving license Thankyou everyone.

hello brassocopper welcome to the brewcabin, All i can say is, don't burn your bridges, it sounds like you have a good employer, so stick with him and show your worth, He's made an investment in you so he wants some return now, your obviously a good lad else he would not have spent so much on you, so he likely will get you gas trained in time, be patient, I understand the need to rush but, getting gas trained is not all it seem to be, Its the green grass over the fence, but when you get over the fence its a lot more shitty than plumbing,Enjoy your plumbing, gas training will come soon enough,
