Can you file a standard solder ring coupler to turn it into a slip coupler?

I've never tryed it with a solder ring because they are hard to slide because of the solder rings, Yon can use an ordinary endfeed coupling, you can twat it past the stop then knock it back using the guide from your bender, I thought I done a video on this but can't find it, I'll make a new video, call back later

Just use your Chinky Expanders to make a slip coupling👍 That would make a good video Tom, as twelve 15mm couplers and the Tools paid for!

Great tip by Tom, I used to file the inside out, but if I need a slip coupler in future ,will use the”wigan elbow” technique💪HAVE IT!!
Ps Tom thanks for the tip I read ages ago ,on your forum ,about removing siliconed close coupled, wood saw down the back worked a treat👍Today when I came across one, I think it was your tip anyway , cant remember exactly

I had one where someone must have used a whole tube of sillycoon sealant to stick a c/c toilet cistern to the wall. Couldn't get a saw down, so used a cheese wire. Similar to Tom's guitar string, but I ain't musical unfortunately.
