Has anyone successfully descaled one?
Got a boiler my mate is fixing but glowworm still not got part & said they MAY have stock sometime this month but no guarantee!!
Customer hot water hot & cold.
Any thoughts?

I've never descaled one but there's a lad over at screwfix ( davetalksgas) reckons he's had good results by taking the heat exchanger off and soaking overnight with some stuff, I've forgot but i think he said x800 and it worked, I just buy a new one cos all the work is in the changing, so if you spent 2 or 3 hours changing it and it don't work that means you have to do it all again, smiley-face-shaking-fist

Trouble is Tom i ordered the part & still not it. Spoke to glowworm & they said hopefully this month but they can't be sure!
