Reading a reply on another post got me thinking about warranties
So, you fit taps, pump, whatever & they have a 12-36 month warranty.
They’re cheap shit & you warm custard about the quality
They go wrong
Do you charge to take off & go to merchant & change the item?

In my experiance the suppier are always happy to exchange but not to pay the plumber for refitting, Its happened dozens of times, I've invoiced the supplier, they say they are not reponsible, I've invoiced the manufacturer they say the same, The custerd won't pay either, So the only way is to Price initialy for replacement and if it never needs replacing , you win,

It’s a difficult one. Why go back 11 months later for free? I’ll be telling the customers that replacing a faulty part isn’t free & they can sue the Chinese manufacturers!

If they supplied it or chose it without your help then charge for your time. If you supplied/chose it then take the hit. Look after your customers and you'll get to a point where you don't need to advertise.

Addionally, I've never managed to get warranty labour contribution off any supplier to date and have tried many times with three of them being very persistant efforts.

I remember a leaking boiler which we replaced under warranty and the manufacturers did pay a set extra allowance to the tradesman for his extra cost (this was quite a few years ago).
