I reckon they'll leak a bit like telescopic rad tails, especially on a pressurised system.

tilers are the same, It used to annoy me when a tiler on site wanted to borrow a spanner to take a rad off, then he'd tile it and just fuck off and leave the rad on the floor and the brackets just anywhere, So when you came round to refit it,, no brackets, So when ever the tiler came to borrow a tool, he'd get fucked off,

They rip everything out to stick their crappy bit of heated up mud on the walls & think it looks wonderful? !!!!!! As you say, unscrew everything & lose half of it, very messy bastards too!!

They don't get lost, more like thrown away to return the favour of being a selfish cunt. It`s the least you should expect if you want to hang a rad on walls that aren't finished.

it works like this on site Ian ( new build), the plumber gets a price for fitting rads, so he fits them, if some twat takes one off, he either puts it back,or gets counter charged for not putting it back, Its the agents fault if the tilers not been in first, not the plumbers, but the tiler is not skilled enough to refit a rad, so he gets charged,

Not on any site I have worked on. If the plumber fits a rad when it shouldn`t be on then it is their problem, either they take it off or the tiler/plasterer gets a site instruction to allow us to remove it. It rarely happens on site because as plots don't get second fixed until its ready.
If there is ever any debate about it then a simple explaination of how stupid it is to fit a radiator before it is plastered/tiled and how it wont be getting done until its gone sorts it out.

it happened all the time to me, and like i say, once we go in the fit rads, we only get that price once, if the house is not ready thats not our fault, we want another price to go back in or day work, if the brackets have been skipped, thats another charge, smiley-taunt005 show bum

As a matter of fact if I have to remove a rad the site or the homeowner pays for the privelage, not once have I ever been charged.

If the plumber has fitted them before they are asked then it is their problem.
