Shower doors on a quadrant
They locate on top but when adjusting to try & stop the bottom rollers coming out it just won’t work
Sweating, swearing, I just want to smash the fucking things up.
The cubicle cost £600 so not a cheapy
Really annoying me

I hate them too rocky, its a two man job realy and I've always struggled with them, I once leaned one of the doors up against a wall, it slid and fell, I shit me self, but it never broke, Then another time i caught the edge as I was putting it in place and it went pop and disintrigated into a billion little pieces, that cost me, smiley-confused002asak2

It just won’t adjust
I’ve been trying an hour everything I can do
It just comes out at bottom when it’s opened
I’m off, life’s too short for this. It can’t be fixed.
No way - no how

I hate shower cubicles as well, the custard always thinks that you've got 100s of obscure parts for them on your van.
I go very cautiously with them because the custard will always try and blame you for breaking something the moment you step inside it to look at the shower problem!

What version you working on Rocky?
Only fixed a couple but I find parts even on newer units difficult to source or very expensive especially the bottom roller bearings if there cam operated and stainless steel.

It’s a 800 quadrant Don’t know make It all looks good but the doors won’t stay in at the bottom

In my experience, the doors pop out when the runners aren't parallel. Could be the walls or the base that's not bang on.

Or, thinking about it, the door stopper that stops you opening the doors too much could be too far back.

View AttachmentYes same principle but with Allen key The bottom is fixed, the top should adjust so it clamps down on the runner thus pulling the bottom rollers up a bit to locate. Mmmm. Not on these!

Pretty sure all the ones I've fitted had the sprung rollers on the bottom.

Pretty sure all the ones I've fitted had the sprung rollers on the bottom. Trouble is, if they’re on the bottom the Allen key hole will be exposed as the cover isn’t the same.
